SKIES OF IRELAND

Cheeverstown School

This UOL aims to work with the students imagination and to allow for experimentation with a variety of different materials. Lying down on the grass and looking up at the sky from a ‘worm’s eye’ point of view, will provide the scenario for the different tasks over the course of the UOL. The images provided will inform the students of the various art elements such as colour, texture and movement to be incorporated.

Over the course of the UOL the students will explore two-dimensional work that can be displayed on a panel, representing a tonal scale of the sky.

The three-dimensional work that will be hung as a mobile installation depicting sculpture visual recordings of the sky.
